This is an experiment we did with our colleague Sydney Newtown from the School of Built Environment at UTS.
Syd is interested in how people experience the city and uses digital tech to monitor and record how people respond physiologically and behaviourally to experiences of the built environment.
We went for a guided walk of the planty map of Green Square and Syd recorded us in 360 immersive video. The videos recordings have then been stitched into the map.
Bankstown Arts Centre produced this short video of us introducing The Plantiness of Bankstown. The video is part of a YouTube series presenting all the artists in Symbiosis, the inaugural Bankstown Biennale. There are important tips, such as finding mulberries and spotting ibis.
