Are you a resident of Green Square? If you’re a gardener, wannabe gardener or if you want to learn more about the green spaces around you, join us for a seed saving workshop that will help you get hands on with the local environment – or as we like to call it, the ‘planty universe’.

What’s it all about?

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to preserve summer and autumn plant seeds. This process will prepare you for a second workshop in September where we’ll teach you to transform your preserved seeds into seed balls, ready for radical replanting.

Bringing Green Square to life

The seed saving workshop is part of the Green Square Atlas of Civic Ecologies, a community research project from the team at Mapping Edges. Join us in exploring the planty universe that surrounds you and find out how community sustainability initiatives can care for place, build neighbourly connections, and create meaningful environmental change.
