Most of us have gone on a COVID-safe approved walk around our neighbourhoods for a bit of freedom and fresh air during these past few months. However, have any of you caught yourself taking a few wild berries off a tree at your local park? Or maybe you might’ve caught yourself thinking about stealing an orange from your neighbour’s tree? Here to discuss the art of ethical and safe urban foraging was Associate Professor Alexandra Crosby from the School of Design at UTS, and Associate Professor Ilaria Vanni Accarigi from International Studies and Global Societies at UTS.

Thank you to presenter Oscar Byrne for having us on The Daily. Also big thanks to producer Susan Huang.

We loved being on 2SER (Sydney Educational Radio) this week. 2SER had its origins in the burgeoning community broadcasting movement of the early 1970’s when it was proposed that an educational radio station be established based on a consortium of Sydney universities.

Today, 2SER operates as a company limited by guarantee and is jointly owned by our own institution, the University of Technology, Sydney and Macquarie University.
