We are pleased to announce our major project for 2021. Supported by The City of Sydney and UTS The Climate Justice Research Centre, the Green Square Atlas of Civic Ecologies guides people to look at activities and practices that bring together care for place and community and for the environment. Examples include the verges people cultivate in some streets, small businesses repairing and recycling, organisations that work towards social and environmental sustainability (OZ Harvest), individuals that grow and share food (the honesty box of Rosebery Honey), community composting, the digital networks Street Bounty, Buy Nothing etc., the environmental public art works around Green Square, the community garden boxes. These are just some of the examples we noticed walking around, there will be more.

Stay tuned for information about community walks, workshops and talks.
